虚拟资产会计准则的出台，要求虚拟资产发行商将发行的代币确认为“债务”，直到他们履行代币发行时白皮书中规定的职责。它制止了一些发行商通过滥用留给各公司自主权的不明确的会计标准，利用代币销售收益夸大销售额的发行人。
